Santander Mortgage Product Transfer - Loan Amount from offer, or balance when transfer starts?

Hi guys,
Hopefully a simple question!
Went through the product transfer option with my current mortgage provider, Santander 12 days ago but not accepted as of yet (although was about to before posting here)
The new product would start in January.
Will the balance of my new product be the balance of my mortgage when I applied for the product, or the balance when my current mortgage product ends?
Same question but regarding the term, as my mortgage balance has already dropped since applying aswell as well as the amount of time left on the mortgage.
Tried looking for answers buy couldn't find it!
