  • Hiya

Yeah, I will join you with this! If I could get to £10,000 then that would be my credit cards and loans paid off plus a bit of savings so I would be well chuffed!

If I get any bright ideas on how we can reach the target then I will share them!!

Hi, i think i will have a bash at this. OH's & my LBM was July 07 when we worked our debts out at £32,666. Was hoping to crack the £30k by the end of the year but went on holiday to Oz for 3 weeks for my brother's wedding so i reckon we'll just about crack £31k. Our DFD is July 2012 but we set ourselves a yearly target like this to bring our DFD down.

    December 31st 07-£30,000
    December 31st 08-£22,500
    December 31st 09-£12,500
    December 31st 10-£0

I will follow this thread to help us try to reach £22.5k.
    Debt at LBM(July 1st 07)-£35,053.92 Debt on 1st Anniversary of LBM(July 1st 08)-£33,170.11 (31st January 09)-£32,318.73Paid off so far £2,735.19(7.8%) Average paid off p.m. £143.95 L/H supporter 115 DFD target February 2018 DFD March 2028. PAD(Started 28/12/08) £253.77 £10 a day Feb £110/£280 WEDDING Paid off £1,585.96 Saved Up £925.40

I might be able to do it, its sounds easier than 4k challenge. I do pigsback but I want to concentrate on working extra shifts. If I get £100 a shift and I do about 3 a month thats £3600. Its a lot but maybe I can save as well. I hope you can help keep me on the straight and narrow even if I can't make £10,000. It would certainly get down some debts but I know I in for the long haul.

  • :xmassign: :xmastree: Hi everyone

This sounds a great challenge. I'm currently on a DMP but I have been trying to up my income in various ways. An extra £10000 off my debt this year would help massively (and I am sick off having it hanging around my neck).

I'm in if thats ok - and the computer doesn't clap out again.

  • Hi I'm in it's not too late. £10k is a real challenge and it would be good to see a substantial part of my debt written off by this time next year.
    Debt to pay off £22,350:eek:

DFW 204 - Started off £53,670 in debt LBM 2006

I will be in credit one day - one payment at a time
  • im in as well! i think if you get people to post there debts and run some knid of league of who has cleared the most debt, adds a bit of competition. this league would be updated every month and the printed on here!
