Morning. Thanks for starting us off Scarlet.Yesterday's weather wasn't even close to the horrendous forecasts. There were several showers, some persistent drizzle and one almighty short lived downpour. Mind you, it was much colder than last week. I dug out my gilet again and had a blanket over my knees sometimes.I got caught up watching the two very ancient Miss Marple films, Margaret Rutherford in full black and white flow. Part of my pleasure is trying to spot other actors. In the second one a very young James Bolam was the baddie.Today I'm off to Oban for some shopping, the fridge is bare. On the way I'll call in on a friend to organise our outing to a show in December, we have to co-ordinate several people. The huge moon was so beautiful though it kept me awake for some of the night so I expect to sleep well tonight. 💤💤
Hugs to everyone who can use one. Happy Monday to all.7 -
Morning folks. Bloomin' heck it's a cold start this morning. Heating on for a quick burst to warm it up a bit. No moon here last night GERS, everything obscured by cloud sadly. Today we are forecast sun but there is no sign of it yet.
My only excitement today is a grocery delivery this morning. But not Tesco!! I have sacked them after last week's debacle and the messing about with previous deliveries. On my DF's recommendation (who sacked Tesco before I did) I am giving Ocado a go. She has had no problems at all with them and their prices are roughly on a par with Tesco if you keep out of the M & S section!! Despite my good intentions one or two of their things happened to find their way into my basket!
I don't do much ironing these days but after neglecting the basket for a while it looks to be mounting up a bit so that is a job earmarked for today. Not my favourite job!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for the poorlies or fed up. DP1 I hope your DD gets a bit of free time to explore Istanbul. A city of two halves but the old part is by far the better half with so much of interest. xx

Hello everyone
Where's everyone today...unless there's 2 threads?
I've been to work all day so I'm shattered...Going to wash up then it will be pyjamas on and get comfy on the sofa!
It's been a lovely sunny day and quite mild though the wind is getting up now.
TA - eldest DD is working until Thursday night and then she's moving to an apartment with 6 of her friends and staying till Sunday evening so yes she'll have a few days to explore Istanbul. Have you been there?
Hope everyone has had a good day x3
