What percentage of your savings should you put in a fixed rate account?

Hello. I have just been looking at 6 month fixes and wondered what percentage of my savings I should commit to a fixed account (seeing as I won't be able to access the money until the account matures). Is 20% too high? Assuming the rest stays in an easy access account.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
