When is the rate secured (NatWest)?

If my broker submitted an application (by application I mean pressing the button to switch I didn't have to submit anything else yet - we are existing customers) for a product switch through the NatWest Portal today when is the rate secured from? Submitting the application? Or the receipt of the documents they will send me? Or me signing and returning the documents. I have an email confirming receipt of the request and saying I'll hear from them with documents in 3 working days.

The rate is secured on the broker submitting the case but is released if you don't accept it within 14 days
