If the conditions are met for rent a room there is no need to declare it?MiniEggs said:Hi

Rent a room relief applies to an individual who lets a part of his or her home. S785 ITTOIA 2005 states that an individual qualifies for rent a room relief.
Income Tax (Trading and Other Income) Act 2005 (legislation.gov.uk)
I don't believe that the estate of a deceased is an individual who has a home and therefore Rent a room cannot apply.

Rent a room can only be claimed by an individual so a deceased estate cannot claim it.
You will need to declare income/expenditure that the estate received.0
