Existing Nationwide borrowers - product-switch/rate-switch window is now 6 months before end of fix

Just got notified by Nationwide that from today (5 October), for clients that already have a mortgage with Nationwide, a rate-switch can be requested within 6 months of their current fix ending.
So if you are currently on a Nationwide fix ending 31/03/2023, you *should* now be able to secure a rate if staying with Nationwide is an option you want to consider. You can see their product switch rates here https://www.nationwide-intermediary.co.uk/products/product-finder
You should make sure to compare to the whole of market so you're getting the most cost-effective and appropriate product for your needs and circumstances.

Is it almost all banks now allowing this 6 months early? I remember it used to be 3 months for most a few years ago.
