Hi all
On my way out so this will be quick, but need a recipe to make for dinner tonight. I have a pack of cubed beef and an over run of mushrooms and potatoes. I'd contemplated a type of cottage pie type thing, but wondered if anyone had any easy and quick recipes they could help me out with?
should I use gravy stuff or will stock be enough ( I only have veggie stock cubes), got an onion gravy powder too.
Thanks and hope someone can help.
Yvonne

Sounds ideal for a beef and mushroom stew either topped or served with mash...
Just make as for a brown stew and add the mushrooms in large chucks part way through.
I'd probably use the veggie stock too

If the spuds are floury, I'd go with the mash as above. However, if they are a bit waxy, what about dicing them up and doing a sort of Irish stew? The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0
