Hi all,
I’m hoping to get advice on the witness statement that will support my application to set aside a default judgement made against me in Feb 2020 for £295.
If anyone has any experience of putting together a set aside application, please do get in touch or let me know if it would help to post my statement here. I've browsed this site and seen the various stories and examples but given the seriousness of all of this I wanted to ensure I've interpreted the guidance correctly.
Many thanks

Is this in relation to parking tickets? If so there is a subforum in Motoring dedicated to it plus some stickies on the most common questions0

Ok, not the right place to post then but it still has a reasonable amount of good advice even if its not private parking ticket related.
On what grounds are you attempting to get it set aside?0 -
You must satisfy two criteria -
(1) Why you did not respond to the original court papers
(2) Have a defence with a realistic chance of success
So why do you think it should be set aside?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
