Imagine for a moment if we weren't in this dreadful financial situation, and your fairy godmother could fathom up one extravagance that you would only splash out on occasionally but could utilise daily. What would yours be?

Proper designer perfume - not FM, Lidl or high street varieties.

I'm lucky to still be using two different Dior scents bought by my ex before we split up 4 years ago and one Armani scent bought by me duty free pre-covid, but they won't be replaced when finished.

Scour online, there are a few places i buy from, the prices can be almost half price sometimes, sometimes ebay and amazon have them lower priced too - definitely worth time hunting.

A handyman who’d come at the drop of a hat to fix all the irritating little things that I’m too cowardly/ignorant to tackle myself.  The sort of things that only cost a couple of quid but the call out to do it costs £80.
