Move to a tracker to avoid ERC

Hi all, sorry i feel like i'm spamming this board a lot at the moment - but really trying to juggle options.
Question: I'm in the last 4 months of my Santander mortgage with a 5% ERC (which works out at £7,500) for me. I'm able to switch products with Santander now... if i was to move to a tracker product today, would i be able to then redeem the tracker mortgage in full "the next day" and avoid paying any early redemption charges?
Am i being stupid?
