porting, renegotiating

Hi and thanks for reading.
I am porting over my existing mortgage with an additional extra mortgage for the £90k or so I need for my new place.
Since this was all agreed with the bank, a survey found some issues leading to a renegotiation, meaning £15k off the agreed price.
My question is what happens to the original amount? Will I still borrow the same but have less deposit to find? Or will they recalculate everything based on the new total price?
