TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Planet Rock – Breakfast Show Wickes Weekly Monday Feature AND Planet Rock Online Wickes Competition – Q4 2022” (the “Competition”). These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

 

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	On-air Breakfast Show Competition Monday 3rd October – Monday 19th December 2022 To be eligible to win, entrants must email the email address stated on air by the presenter on the day of the competition during the Planet Rock Breakfast Show. The entrants must email their name, artist/band name and song request and any other info requested by the presenter on air during the timeframe that the presenter states on air.   Each Monday the presenter will then choose 1 winner from all entries received in the timeframe stated on air, and will read out the entrant’s name, and song request on air. It is only then, once the entrants name and song request is read out on air and the song is played, is that person classed as the winner for that day.   *Paul Anthony is the Planet Rock Breakfast presenter but if for any reason he is unable to present the Breakfast Show another presenter will present the show.   Online Competition The prize winner for the online competition will be selected from those persons who successfully answer the online question correctly.   The online winner will be chosen by electronic random draw on 8/01/2023 (competition entry period closes at 23:59 on 31/12/2022

3. DATES	On-air Breakfast Show Competition Start Date and End Date. Monday 3rd October – Monday 19th December 2022 Every Monday from the 3rd October 2022 to the 31st September 2022 between 06:00 and 10:00.   Entries received before the Start time/date and after the End time/date will not be valid.   Winner Announcement. The name, hometown and entry of the winners will be announced on air every Monday from  4th July  2022 to the 26th September 2022 between 06:00 and 10:00   Online Competition Start Date and End Date. From 03/10/2022 at 00:01 until 31/12/2022 at 23:59   Winner Announcement: The online winner details are available by contacting win@bauermedia.co.uk after the competition winner selection date.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.   One entry per person.   Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.   If you or any other person at your household has won a prize valued at £500 or more on any Bauer brand in the past 6 months, you nor they are not eligible to enter or win this competition. THE PRIZE	On-air Breakfast Show Competition   Monday 3rd October – Monday 19th December 2022 Every Monday from the 3rd October 2022 to the 31st September 2022 between 06:00 and 10:00 one winner will be awarded.    The following prize; 1 x £250 Wickes Gift Card   Only one prize will be awarded per person during the competition period from 3rd October to 31st December 2022   Online Competition There will be one winner of the online prize.   The following prize will be awarded to the winner:    1 x £1000 Wickes Gift Card   The prize will be sent to the winners via post.    Use of a false name will result in disqualification.   The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative. Wickes reserves the right to substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value at any time. Any changes to the prize draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Wickes. Entrants who sign up to the Wickes marketing can opt out at any time. All marketing content which is sent to entrants will have an opt-out link within the content.

1. MISCELLANEOUS.
   1. Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.

   3. If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.
   4. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

   7. Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.
   8. As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.
