Has the rate been pulled already?

Like many others I have a low fixed rate (1.94%) ending next year, and am looking to lock in a new rate now, switch mortgages next year and although this will cost me a small ERC, it's worth it in the longer time period.

I've used Habito as a broker, and on Friday they came back to me with some options, one of which was a 10 year fix with Barclays at 3.65%.

After some deliberation over the weekend I want to go for this. I know 10 years is a long fix but I think that the rate is quite good when looking at historical rates, and realistically I doubt we'll return to sub 2% rates again so I'd rather have the piece of mind.

However I now can't find that rate listed anywhere on the Barclays site. So has it been pulled already or is it possibly a broker only rate?

https://intermediaries.uk.barclays/home/our-products/remortgage/ - According to this, it is not available.
I hate it at the minute, I feel like I sound like a double glazing salesman, but we pretty much say to everyone dont take too long to think about it because nobody is guaranteeing rates at the end of the day, let alone over the weekend.

@MDE Barclays sent out notification to brokers on Thursday at 3pm about the following changes to their rates effective from Friday.

So assuming it's the second-last product above that you are referring to, I've no idea why they would recommend a rate that had already been pulled, I suspect they did the research before Friday and didn't note that the rates are being upped.

Barclays allows brokers to 'reserve' a rate for a few days so unless they reserved the product for you on Thursday, I wouldn't expect it to be available to you anymore.

Thanks. That's disappointing. TSB now looks to be the best 10 year fix at 60% LTV.

I managed to secure the Barclays 10 year fixed at 3.65pc. Broker called me late Thursday to get over line as it was going up Friday as mentioned above.

Is Halifax increasing today? Rates still showing the same as last week.

@snowqueen555 Off of the top of my head, Halifax remo rates are going up from today but they've held their purchase rates which are still quite competitive. Unlikely to last this week I'd think.
