I need help with a present for my boss

Hi everyone

I have had a tough year and wanted to buy my boss a really nice present to say thank you for all her time. Ideally I would like something for her and her hubby, maybe a decorative christmas item, but i need it be classy! It doesn't necessarily have to be something for the house, but i have scowered the net and can't find anything. I don't really want anything too personal, but saying that we have also become quite good friends i.e we spend time out of work together too! Please help - Its her last day in work on Friday before leaving for xmas break.
If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A

depends what you want to spend. Believe it or not Tescos have some really classy looking candles. Bought an ethnic looking one and another brown one with engraved leaves on that stands on its own brown dish....both only £5 each
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Do you have a John Lewis store near you? They do beautiful classy gifts, same goes for The Pier too, I always go there if I'm stuck.

  • what about one of those yankee candles with a christmas scent, my brother bought me one of there "housewarmer candles" in Christmas Punch last year and its lovely any time of year, lasts for ages too!
But as others have said - it depends how much you wanna spend?

  • How much are you looking to spend? I think don't go for anything Christmassy, go for something she can use all year like an organiser, diary or perhaps a really nice calander (museums have lovely ones, and often you can shop online).

I know it's not what you had in mind but just another idea - something I would love to receive also - a put together hamper of nice Xmas foods - you could get some M&S mince pies, wine, a waitrose xmas pud....maybe not what you had in mind but still nice to receive in a nice basket....
