Further borrowing -0% Credit Card Debt

Options
Hi,

I'm looking to remortgage with further borrowing to pay off credit card debt, I'm concerned credit card interest free deals will be taken off the shelf hence the above.

Can you put 0% debt onto a mortgage?

Thanks in advance.

@deano3 Yes, you can consolidate a time-limited 0% cc debt on to a mortgage using a further advance (current lender) or a capital raise remortgage (new lender). The eligibility criteria, affordability calculations and LTV thresholds etc. will depend on the specific lender.

Thanks K.S, when you say time limited period what do you mean?

Lloyds have told me I simply can't transfer 0% debt unless the interest free period is due to expire within 3 months.

@deano3 I don't if it was you or someone else who posted the same issue with Lloyds where they wouldn't consolidate debt that was currently on 0%. That's just their criteria I suppose so nothing much to do about it but wait for the 3 months window or use another lender.

With respect to 'time-limited' what I meant was that the debt isn't indefinitely on 0%.
