in Loans
I have 3 student loans:
1 with Erudio, which started in November 1999
2 with Thesis, which started in April 2001
I started University in September 1995, took out loans with the SLC over a number of years which have then been transferred to these companies.
Not sure of the actual dates of the loans but I was a full time student until summer 2001, and a part-time student for a further year after that.
Can anyone tell me when these loans will be written off?
After 25 years? After 30 years? When I reach 50? When I reach 65? When I die?!
I find it very confusing!

Thanks @jon81uk
The thing that's confusing me is that the loans, although all taken out with the SLC, have subsequently been transferred to third parties (Erudio and Thesis). Nowhere in the annual letters they send does it clearly state the actual date that the loans were originally taken out.
Should I contact them? Or the SLC?0 -
MSE site has the details too
The old ones that were sold on are either 25 years after your first payment of your last loan agreement (usually the start of your final year) or when you are 50 (if under 40) or when you get to 60 (if over 40) though yours is a bit confusing as the Erudio ones were only in theory for the pre-1998. If yours have been sold on you might be best to speak to Erudio1
