Council tax banding

So after waiting since May I’ve finally received my council tax banding outcome stating that it is in the correct banding and no further action.
They didn’t even come and look at it I have such a tiny house I can’t see how it can be higher banded than local friends with larger homes. They also said I have no right to appeal so I guess that’s it now?

The VOA (Eng and Wales) and Assessor (Scot) will already have the details of both you and your friends' homes.so they do not usually bother inspecting. There are several possible reasons why your smaller house could be higher banded than your friends' larger homes, age, situation, desirability, unassessed extensions, error in their banding etc.
You can ask why they believe your house is correctly banded and if you believe you have not been given a satisfactory response you can make an official complaint. It may mean another or more senior caseworker would review your case, but it won't give you any right of a formal appeal.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales1
