Hi,
Our fixed mortgage with natwest is up in a few months and they have given us a few new options to renew.
Two, and five year fix and variable. We are looking to fix again, but uncertain for how many years encase all this price increases might eventually settle down.
We are fairly new to all this, so can anyone advise please.
Thanks

I've just gone with natwest, the 2 and 5 fix options were at the same rate at 3%. So for peace of mind I decided to go for the 5 year fix in the Hope's things will be better by then. For me, variable was to risky given what's in in news atm. No one has a crystal ball but do what you think is best!
Looking to remortgage December 2022 onto a better rate!0 -

What rates have you been offered for 2 or 5 year?1 -
Our 5 year fixed rate with Barclays will end very soon
We wanted to discuss with a mortgage broker but obviously utter chaos trying to get through on the telephone (London & Country)
Wanted 2 year fixed rate, no changes to our mortgage/same amount (just under 250k)- last night we checked in our online account and could see we could make online switch ourselves
3.58% 2 year fixed...decided with other half we'd just go for that
Logged into online account this morning- product switch option is now inactive, I think they are revising current rates and are going to come back with worse options....kicking myself for not doing the switch last night

We have been offered a 3.95% 2 year fix with a fee of £995. A two year fix 4.29% and £0 fee
Then
A 5 year fix 3.69% and £995 fee and another with 4.01% and £0 fee.
Each monthly payments increase as per deal.
Any advise again please0 -
