Tracing missing pensions

So I am Australian and we have something called a tax file number that you can literally enter into a database and will pop any little missing pension pots, superannuation we call it but it’s just from all the daft job she had when you were younger the bar jobs here in the call centre jobs there and you’re able to collect them off and amalgamate them into your proper Superfund. Is there any option to do the same in the UK ?

You'll get a complete listing of all your previous jobs in the UK which will give you the necessary starting points to trace any possible pensions using https://www.gov.uk/find-pension-contact-details
