Disabled Persons Railcard application question

I am applying for a Disabled Persons Railcard application due to needing hearing aids but National Rail need a copy of my NHS battery book which i have never had and my surgery does not issue. Anyone apply for one of these?

Can you ask your audiologist?Or if you receive disability living allowance you can submit a copy of your DLA award letter from last 12 months0
