Can anyone help me? I'm in a total quandry.
I ordered 6 boxes for prezzies and realised afterwards that in my rush I had forgotten to add a code and could also do with 2 more boxes. I didn't want to order separately due to P&P so called customer services who seemed confused and said there were none in stock but then he checked again and said they were but said I couldn't change my order or add the code. I thought i'd e-mail and try my luck so I did and I haven't heard back yet.
Anyhoo.
The chocs then came back in stock so I did my order properly this time thinking i'd just cancel the original but when I tried to pay there was a problem and the bank called about the constant use of my card (blame this site, lol). Anyhoo, got that sorted and tried again. The order went through but the discount didn't come off so I rang Customer services again.
I started telling the woman about my order and she said they haven't got any of those chocs in, haven't had them for 2 weeks and aren't getting any more and asked for my order number. I asked if that meant they weren't going to honour it and she said no as they haven't got any. I got a bit panicky and am ashamed to admit I hung up on her.
So now i'm stuck with 2 orders for supposedly non-existent chocolates totalling nearly £100 that are supposedly going to be delivered tomorrow and I have no clue how to handle it.
Any clever money savers out there who can help?

I'm tempted to email and cancel my first order but scared they'll cancel the lot and don't want to ring CS again as the last one got a bit tetchy and i'm not that brave, lol.0

You need to call back and find out whether they can fulfil the order.
Don't worry that you hung up before, you'll most likely speak to someone different this time xGone ... or have I?0 -

Thanks dmg.
What if they say they can't though? Should I just accept it? Plenty of others ordered at the same time and I assume have received confirmation emails. I don't want to agree to them cancelling it and then lose out.0 -
Phone back, cancel the orders and go to your nearest Thorntons store to actually buy some. Oh, and calm down! It's only chocolate!0

Sorry about the dramatics folks, just had a panic attack at the thought of paying £100 on chocs.
All sorted now.
I phoned and cancelled the first order and asked for the discount on the second and the nice fella did it no problem and made no mention of the chocs not being in stock so hopefully should be alright now.
Sorry again.
