Hi,
I live in Scotland and previously owned a home with my now ex. Following split my ex bought me out. My husband was previously a home owner too however the property was repossessed following split with his ex. We have been renting for the past 10 years. We are desperate to buy a home however with 2 kids and some debts it is so difficult to save for a deposit. Am I correct in saying that we wouldn’t qualify for first time buyers because we previously owned properties? Is there any help to buy options for people in our situation?
