Looking to get solar again

Hi
In 2005 I purchased a 4kwh solar system with no batteries. It cost £4.9k and when I moved out 2021 I had probably made around 3.5k meaning a payback period of around 8 years. The majority of benefit was fit payments.
I have been quoted 11k for a 4kwh system with 5.6kwh battery2×2.8kwh, another is similar price
Annual electricity usage of 2200kwh(very low I've been told) or £73 pm from Oct.
I have some questions, I would be grateful if you could answer
1. Without battery, my lecky bill reduced by approx a third in my original home. What is figure with batteries? One person has said 60-70%, another has said 90%
2. What payback period do you deem as acceptable?
3. What are thoughts on quotes
4. Is payback time increased or decreased with battery and would you recommend or not.
Thanks

I can only compare the price with what I have received and what other users discussed on the forum, it is clearly a "rip off Britain" case.
I will also rely on my battery to make the most of my system and hope to use close to 70-80%(or more)of production.
If your electricity usage after production stops is close to 0 (highly unlikely) then, in my opinion, you won't need one otherwise the battery is a must.
Look in other threads for prices and more info.
