Renting out items

Hi,
I have a few things I bought for my wedding that I’m interested in renting out to make some extra money.
I’m sure I can easily do this on Facebook Marketplace, etc, but I’m wondering if there’s a more ‘proper’ way as I’d like to also take a security deposit to cover damage to / theft of items.

Is anyone able to offer any advice?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I did a very small investigation last week and mostly this
https://fatllama.com/On a quick look it looked like the fees can be a bit expensive but might be worth for more expensive items. I believe this is because they have an insurance that can cover for stolen items. As usual, pls do your own research.0
