They are on a DD, the company insists but they don't go out until the 20th and 21st. I hate waiting, I wanna pay now!
What company is it with? If they have a website, could you not try registering and making the overpayment?Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.0 -
Ha ha me & my friends were talking about Izal on Saturday night (whilst having the age old toilet roll conversation...value or comfort!) how spooky!!!
It makes me shudder to think of primary school toilet roll
Have to go buy my secret santa gift today - in true MSE style we are only spending £1.50 on the naffest prezzie we can find! Poundland here I come
Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...0 -
Egg, they've already said the DD is going out, even though we've paid off £250 already this month, they are being awkward. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Cancel the DD then. Simple as that. Then change it to a decent date.Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.0 -

Had a letter off the bank this morning re the overdraft that we have been trying to reduce. They say they cannot reduce the overdraft anymore until .... wait for it ..... 1st December 2008     Why???
Surely they should be thrilled that we want to pay them back? I'd have thought they would be biting our hands off? So what should I do? I was going to clear it next month completely. I guess I could just leave that money in the account so it is effectively cleared and then just keep us in the black so we are not using the overdraft at all - it will have the same effect expect on our credit file we will still show up as having a £900 overdraft available to us. Do you think that will matter? It's not like we are planning on taking out any credit, its just that both our defaults clear in 2008 and we wanted our credit file to be nice and clear and squeaky clean.   to ShAbbey!
In other news, just been and done my food shopping for the rest of the year :rotfl: bang on budget with a fiver left over for extra milk :TOlympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015
