My current mortgage deal end next Friday. Eveyrhing is in Solitors hands but because current madmess they seem to be unable to complete by them.
What happens now? Should I be able to complete a week later and pay the variable fee with my current lander partially over a week or so? or now I have to pay the variable rate in full and wait a month?

You, or your broker, could ask for the mortgage offer to be extended by a couple of weeks.
Is this a remortgage ie you aren't moving home? or a new mortgage on a different home? Either way, your solicitor should be able to explain the reason for the delay.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
