Moving abroad - Have I paid too much tax?

in Cutting tax
My family and I are moving abroad in November.
I am currently a higher rate tax payer (PAYE) in the UK.
When I stop earning in the UK (in October), my earnings for the financial year will be less than the £50,271 taxable income for a higher rate.
Does that mean I have been paying higher rate tax based on the projection I would earn over £50k? And does this mean I could clawback some tax?
