Is there anyone on here who claims a means tested benefit such as guarantee pension credit? If so do you keep accounts and declare it during the application process? I was declaring it to HMRC but it wasn't enough to pay tax, and they asked me to stop sending in tax returns.
Don't mess with pensioners.

chances of you getting enough from surveys to matter is almost non-existant

I earn around £10 to £12 a week and that would reduce any benefits by quite a lot or it would take me out of them altogether.

tax are not interested in it (don't know the benefits position)
The trading allowance introduced from 6 April 2017 essentially means you no longer have to report the first £1,000 you earn from self-employment or selling goods 'for profit'. Therefore if not already registered as self-employed, you won't need to do so if earning less than a grand from survey sites.
