People still waiting for the second energy payment of £324

Hi I have been in touch with UC about the second payment and i am being told
"We are still waiting for confirmation regarding the qualifying criteria and payment period for the 2nd Cost of Living Payment." It is my beleif that it is simly that I am on UC and there is evidence of at least one months payment.

Maybe but you’ve posted on the pension board so you may want to post elsewhere to get more answers.

 The criteria for the second payment has yet to be published, nobody has received a payment yet. It is likely to be similar to the first payment. ie you qualified for a payment of specific benefits on x date

When the qualifying criteria is announced by the government it will be published and I am sure Martin will do a piece on it.  The call handlers at UC will have no knowledge of what that criteria is until they are told which will likely be the same time as everyone else.  It is also likely that something will be mentioned in the statement tomorrow. Constantly phoning helps no one and stops those call handlers from dealing with people who have real problems.

Okay and sorry for posting it on the forum. Logic would dictate the criteria is the same for both and with October looming it is needed. Thanks and sorry for posting it here.
