Hello,
Roughly how long after an offer is accepted on a property is the buyer required to pay the deposit? I understand it can vary dramatically but a rough idea would be helpful. I am in Scotland if this makes a difference. Thank you.

we purchased in July this year- deposit, stamp duty and all fees were due to solicitor 5 working days before completion. We are also in ScotlandMortgage Aug 22 £280,000

Hi they requested money be paid no later than 1 Working day before completion. Completion took 6 weeks , also in Scotland1
