Good morning, still dark but seems to be dry.
We had a quiet day yesterday, I took some library books back, and dropped off a couple of bags at the charity shop.
We are going to tidy up outside this morning if it stays dry, and that's about it for today, though the spare room could stand a tidy.
Hope everyone has a good day today, take care folks.

Morning
ScarletRibbons - thanks for starting us off x
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Dark and dry underfoot. Wash load ready to peg out shortly.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was spag bol, made one I got home but isn't too difficult to do just get it simmering gently on the hob. Not sure what we'll be having for dinner tonight.
Today is my half day but looking at the calendar someone has taken a double booking, I did try to speak to them yesterday but couldn't get in touch, so hope they have rectified that and not left it for me to sort! We'll see! There were 2 staff at this venue yesterday so hope it has been sorted as normally I'm on my own.
Keep safe and well x

WEIGHTLOSS SINCE JUNE 2009 - 5 ST 2LB9 -
Morning folks. The visit to the pharmacist has paid off, only one dose of the capsules has calmed my system down enormously. I had some scrambled egg and one piece of toast at lunch time which I enjoyed. The other day I read that the Queen liked some lemon zest and grated nutmeg in her scrambled egg so I tried adding in zest - surprisingly it was really tasty, I wasn't ready for the nutmeg. My day was mostly very quiet. In the afternoon I emptied three of five potato growing bags and was delighted with the haul, especially as they were from the seed potatoes which didn't chit properly and the compost wasn't the best. They are Rattes which I particularly enjoy though I may wait a bit longer to taste them. It's very rainy and dull here, autumn is certainly very close. I think that the swallows have gone already and the leaves will soon follow.I hope that everyone is doing fine, babies and puppies included. Happy Wednesday to all.9

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET for the early start. I had another silly o'clock wakening too. Bah.
It's a lovely start here and I plan on the bus ride that never happened yesterday! I went out to the bin around 8.00 and it felt really warm so I decided to stay put and do a bit of pottering around outside. I brought the garden chairs and little table into the garage but left the garden seat out just in case we have a few more nice days and I am tempted out with a cuppa.(One can live in hope!)
Not a lot got done inside other than a quick whizz round with the vacc and then I made a big pot of lentil & bacon soup to cover my lunches for the upcoming days. I always enjoy a bowl of soup with my sarnie. Tea was fish and wedges done in the airfryer. I only rarely put the oven on now since I got it.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for the poorlies or fed up. And also RUBY's doggie. NELS it sounds as though you are now approaching the finishing line. I know what an emotional job it is. Take care one and all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"10 -

Morning all; dull here today.
Busy day yesterday with shopping, getting my nails done and DGS care but have managed to book my Covid booster for Monday. About to be son in law cooked us a lovely meal last night and I think I'm still full this morning!
Today we are having a break from wedding preparations and going to Waddesdon Manor, so that should be a good day out. We usually go at Christmas time to see the lights, so I haven't been in the daytime for a few years.
Just waiting for the rest of the house to get up now9 -
Morning
Gorgeous day today blue sky and sunny. Yesterday went well and the clearance guys came and took all the big furniture. They were so impressive lifting heavy solid pieces like they were made of air in fact they had cleared the house in 20 mins such a relief its all gone. It wasn't cheap to do but as the house made over the asking price then these sorts of essential expenses can come out of this. I still have a few bags of "stuff" to bring back so maybe one more visit. I have been pretty disciplined in what I have brought back as I have quite enough clutter here but I have a few nice memories and some practical things mostly kitchen related. I also found a sheepskin cover to go under the sheet on the bed so will put that aside for mid winter.
So the end is nigh at last its all down to the solicitors now.
Today I need to rest up a bit as yesterday was busy and stressful and this morning I'm aching head to foot.
Food wise I think I will have burger and chips tonight. I have a list of companies I need to notify and may even be due some refunds on payments so that will help with the expenses too.
Have a good day all

Good morning everyone
No work today so I was later getting up - I'd love to wake up with some energy one morning! Had a nice chat with eldest DD in Bali before I got up - she's loving it there.
I'm sitting here with little kitten swinging from the belt of my dressing gown...she's easily amused!
Nelski - so pleased you've had the rest of the furniture taken away - it's been such a long job for you.
Black and gold - enjoy your day out
Izzybee - you deserved a lie in - you're always so busy
Gers - good news that your tummy is better - there's nothing worse
We dug up our potatoes at nursery yesterday - the children were very excited finding them in the soil. We had quite a lot and they all went home with a little bag full.
Well I have a few things to iron and then I'll go down to mam and dads for a cuppa.
Hope everyone has a good day today x9 -

Been to friendship/lunch club at SA - we had a new lady attend - she proudly told me that she was 90 years old.
We used our mini bus to take people home - I went as escort - told that I was the responsible adult. So I had a lovely ride round town. Going to sit and read now as rather tired.
