The purpose of the note is to simply say a “general thanks” to those that help others on this forum.

I’m going to be buying a Solar PV system and have found the answers to the few specific questions I asked and also reading through back many threads to gain some basic groundings has been enormously helpful.  I was struck by how different this forum is to so many others we see and it’s friendly knowledgeable and constructive generous help it offers when so many other fora have a few …. often more …. keyboard warriors who seem to enjoy being unhelpful.

Anyway I feel a bit embarrassed  simply saying I notice and appreciate the difference here.

I’m in the process of seeking several quotes from local companies.  My starting point was the MCS registry and then when I receive replies I do a bit of desktop research to see if there is any feedback, and how long they have been going etc.   It is a minefield for people starting out and I have already received some quotes that seem out of kilter to what I read here.

Thanks again all.
