I should imagine it gets quite hot, so, a bit of experimentation required. I think I would try baking whole onions and garlic in their skin. I think they would become very sweet and the garlic could be squeezed out from their skins and spread on toast or your baked spuds.I would be interested to know how you get on.1

Likely you could roast any sort of veg in it or cook a mini meatloaf or whatever else takes your fancy.
