I am british citizen, planning to take the long term job in dubai and move with my faimly there until assingment is completed. After moving there, does i need to pay the uk taxes yearly through self assessment for my dubai earned salary?

I suggest you telephone HMRC or even engage an accountant.
Personally I have worked abroad several times and never had to pay UK tax on overseas earning, but your circumstances might be different from mine.

If you are resident in the UAE and are employed there, you do not pay UK tax on earnings arising there. However, there are detailed rules, including those applicable in the year you leave the UK:
