    As a contactless card (which works in the UK) that "wraps around" your real payment cards. PAYG by contactless instead of Oyster.  And as a contactless card it is likely to work on most buses outside of London as well.

    So if you lose your Currensea card you haven't lost a more important debit/credit card, just go online and cancel the Currensea.
