State pension & Marriage Certificate.

We were married in Jamaica in 1993 ( holiday with wedding attached ) but have since lost our wedding certificate. My wife started receiving her pension in 2015 and my pension commenced in May 2022. We've received a letter from DWP asking for a copy of the certificate to update their records but I'm hitting a brick wall trying to get a copy from the Jamaican Registrar General Dept. in Jamaica. Since my wife's pension is considerably less than 60% of my own it would appear that her weekly pension would be increased in line with this deficit and quite probably backdated to May 2022. Is there any other way to prove the marriage to satisfy DWP as they've said that without it her rate of state pension will remain as it is? Appreciate any advice. Many thanks .....
