CETV's are dropping (as expected), if your mid transfer hope you make your deadline

I have a private sector DB pension, and I have no interest in transferring it out, but my company does supply an updated CETV to us every three months (they are obviously desperate to tempt us to transfer out).
For the last year or so, it's been sat around the £950,000 mark, today they updated it and its now £650,000. So I hope anybody who is in the middle of transferring are going to make the deadline for their current CETV or they might be in for a big shock!
Anyway, I always have had no intention of taking it but interesting, nevertheless.

Probably still got some way to go before it hits bottom for this cycle too.

That move is entirely consistent with the move in long dated gilt yields and hence the fall in gilt capital values over the last 6 months or so. The other side of the coin is of course that what you can buy with it has generally also fallen, though equities have not fallen as sharply as long dated gilts/index linked gilts.0
