Tesco's grocery delivery

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that tesco's delivery slots are getting longer than usual?

I have tried to order my groceries for a couple of weeks now and the delivery slots are coming up as 3-4 days time against the usual 1-2 days

I normally order my shopping on friday for sunday delivery but lately if i try to order on a tuesday i cant expect a slot until saturday!!
so i pretty much have to order my shopping only 1-2 days after i received a load and guess what i will need for the next week or so

Whats going on? my local store is having a refurb and i thought it might be due to that or lack of drivers maybe but i would have though they would warn about this to customers

Just had a look on mine out of curiosity. There is one slot left for 9-11pm this evening, and plenty of choice for the rest of the week.

hmm thanx for checking Becles mine may be down to the refurb then as i suspected but i'm going to have to phone to find out which annoys me

Don't worry, when everybody gets so lazy as to not want to leave their computers, the delivery slots will probably reach 7-10 days ... but that won;t be an issue because a lot of people will have died from heart attacks due to severe obesity because they do not get out often enough
