Hi. After six weeks I am led to believe the seller is still waiting on deeds from my lender would this be correct? My lender requests the deeds from whoever is holding them then they need to be sent to the seller? Before anything else can be completed?

Hi the lender doesn’t request any deeds. The sellers solicitor will send the deeds to your solicitor for checking over everything is in order0

Maybe I am misreading this or my solicitor has made a typo error....
I’ve just spoken with the solicitors acting for the vendor. They still havn’t received in the title deeds from their Lender.
I asked them to go ahead and send me through whatever documents they have so that we can get things moving.
I’ll let you know as soon as they come in

Read it again. From their lender. Not your lender.

So how long can it take for title deeds that are requested from a solicitor to come from the sellers lender?0

If the property is in a England or Wales and is registered, the deeds are available from Land Registry.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
