RWMJPMC86 said:thanks @SaverRate I have dropped both Vodafone contracts to £10 month each - Very happy with that and just shows what picking up the phone can do, thank you!
The insurances I shop around at each renewal so cheapest this year they are made up of Life - £39.76 Car £33.14 Pet £21.17 and Home (contents and buildings) £24.28 so not sure I could reduce costs.
Car has a 3 year service plan in place, Father in law does new brakes and tyres too (hes good like that) so other incidentals are in the daily savings.
Fuel fluctuates, but around £15 a week I need to account for there thankyou for highlighting that!
Good to hear you have already made a saving on the phone contracts - make sure you have a look at the Vodafone veryme rewards on the app too!!
You may also consider downloading the airtime rewards app depending on your spending - https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/airtime-rewards/

Hi @RWMJPMC86
Good luck with your journey. It sounds like you have a long road ahead, but anything you can do to get ahead will be worthwhile. I've found the challenges really helpful for me, but probably the best thing I do for myself is log in to each and every account every day to check-in on it. This stops me from spending because it terrifies the bejesus out of me every morning and keeps me in check.
The challenges have helped me to shave several months off my debt free date already. This month I have made so far...I've not counted it all up properly, but I think about £800 extra. In fact, I've actually made £425 today. Last month, I think it was about £700. I know you have 2 small children and work, so it's hard to give up time, but I work full-time, have a 6 year old and 2 Ukrainians with their cats, so it is doable.
Best of luck in getting it all sorted.

thanks again @SaverRate I already have AirTime Rewards but had never looked at VeryMe with Vodafone, a free costa Coffee?! Yes please!
(also discovered this week that you get a free coffee in Greggs by downloading their app too - 2 Friday treats and no spends!)
Thank you also @CMD79, it really does sometimes feel like we will be here forever and ever - but I'm 'only' 35. If I can be debt free by 45 that's (hopefully) a long time left of adult hood to be without debt!
