Uhome LFP 2400 add-on

Hi!
I have 3x Uhome LFP 2400 batteries and I'd like to add another 3, but the price I've been quoted (supply only) is eye-watering!
Does anyone know a good supplier? I'm hoping that I can install these myself and save cost...
Any ideas? TIA.

I was looking to self install but even though a qualified electrician this would invalidate my house insurance1

If they are anything like the pylontechs I have, they do look simple to add on.
I've considered adding a couple more batteries to my system. When it was installed last March they were £750 +VAT and I thought, let's give it a few months and see how things are, maybe add a couple more in autumn. Now looked and prices are over £1k +VAT. Out of stock in many places too.Barnsley, South Yorkshire

The Uhomes are a bit of a niche product, they're different enough to Pylontechs that they don't want to coexist on the same system but are (or were) something like double the price.Sadly there aren't many importers (maybe only one?) and so your options are limited. Someone tried importing them direct from China but (if I recall correctly) the manufacturer wouldn't ship to the UK.I'm pretty sure at least one MSEer decided to replace them with Pylontechs then sell the Uhomes on to someone else.N. Thanks for the feedback - it looks like I'm going to have to swallow the cost!0

Though this thread is slightly old. We did import some uhome batteries from China and added then to our current stack of 2, to give 6. Though I would not recommend trying to import them without using an importer, as the forms are a nightmare. Unfortunately Contact Solar who installed the first 2 batteries did not give us access to the battery monitoring system, and updating the firmware is proving to be impossible. We have brought this up with them, but no reply so far.1

I guess my insurance has been invalid for years then, spending money for nothing.
Why do you say your insurance would be invalid?
