Has anyone else had problems with 7up Uber Eats voucher win?

Hubby won a £25 Uber Eats voucher on the 7up comp. He followed the instructions in the email and voucher is showing in his Uber Eats wallet. He tried to place an order at the weekend and it would not let him use the voucher, comes up with something like 'payment method not available' He has contacted the help section in the app and there has been a lot of toing and froing with them basically saying that they have never heard of the voucher even though he has sent them a screenshot.

I'm thinking lots of people must have won these and wonder if others have been able to use them.

I won a £25 Uber Eats voucher, but checking online, there don't seem to be any places which deliver in our area.

We had this, but drove to the next town and ordered in the carpark 😁 

I think (Sorry if I'm wrong!) @redfox5 had an issue with a certain takeaway place.

I think some establishments don't except vouchers, but that doesn't make sense to be, because surely it would be money to them, it would be Uber that would have to sort out if there were any issues with a voucher. @Surfermom have you tried various places or just the one?

Hey

So we had the same issue, the problem arises when you've not got a payment method on file or not enough funds to cover the purchase, as uber eats place a hold on your card for the full amount, then redeem the voucher after, it takes hold off within a day or so.

When you got the notification, it should have said that you will be sent the voucher within 7 days, it also says that you would be contacted within 7 days if there are any issues as well. My 7up Voucher came pretty quickly but my Uber Eats voucher took a little longer.
If yours hasn't arrived within 8 days, it might be worth contacting 7upmoments@promowinners.com

We had the same issue, tried about five places,  none of them worked.
Me and my wife both had vouchers and tried everything to get it to work, but it tried to take the full amount of the bank everytime, which seems like a nice scam for them. No chat or support to contact either.
