58? you should have been retired for a decade or more.experts here will advise on how to manipulate your assets, but in general you would be (IMHO) crazy to keep working.Have fun.0

Do you really think i am in a great position?
With your expenditure you have more than enough to not even worry if you are getting 0% or 4% on your savings. So unless you are going to change your lifestyle, like maybe becoming a sugar daddy to a young lady or start going on lavish holidays just get that resignation letter written now.Maybe the missing piece is fixing my savings at a good long term rate.0 -

Krakkers, as someone who is close to you in lifetime (approaching 59 and can’t stand my job any more) but less so in lifestyle (about 3x your outgoings and a quarter of your savings🙁), I’d say, if you are confident enough in your figures, just do it.
Even if you find newer and (slightly) more expensive interests to occupy you, at least you’ll be doing what you want to do, and making the best use of the time that work is stealing from you.
Meanwhile, I’ll knuckle down for the next 4 years, until I can see a similar light at the end of the tunnel 🙂1
