Xbox Series X Vs Series S

Hi guys

Question- is it worth paying an extra £200 for a series X?

I currently use a 1080 Acer Monitor and also have a 4K tv (not top of the range).

I am looking to upgrade my Xbox original one to either an Series X or S.

- I want to know; Is it worth paying an extra £200 for the series X.

I know what obviously the storage within the X is almost double, as is the price, and the series S only runs games via download and not disk… but are there any other main difference?

is the speeds of the consoles much difference / noticeable?

I don’t play many games, mainly just fifa, cod/warzone and GTA whenever that comes out.

Any help / recommendations would be appreciated, especially off those of you that own both consoles

I know that either console will be a huge upgrade from my original day one Xbox one!!
THANKYOU

It sounds like from the games you are planning to play that an S would probably be sufficient. It might be worth having a look at a few Digital Foundry videos on YouTube where they compare the same game running on X and S - the S is typically has to make a lot of compromises in graphical quality compared to the X, and doesn't have the power to run some games at 60fps.

I've had a series X, then Xbox One S, then Series S and then back to a Series X.

The Series X is definately worth the extra not only for twice the storage but more games stay locked at 60fps.

I exclusively use mine on a 1080p TV.

You’re confident that I’d have enough storage for those games then on a series S? I literally won’t / don’t play any others

    cheers
  • I am very confident there would be enough storage. Plus you can also plug an external hard drive into either an S or X and use that as extra storage.
  • Update.. I bought an Xbox series x 😵‍💫😂
  • Series X i think
