Barclays used to allow you to switch/reserve a new product up to 90/120 days before the end of the fix. From 1st September that has been increased to 150 days, about 5 months.
So if you have a fix ending in/before January 2023 and wish to stay with Barclays for whatever reason, you should be able to secure a rate now either by speaking to your broker (if you don't have one, the MSE guide here can help you find one https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/mortgages/best-mortgages-cashback/#step3) or contacting Barclays directly. If you use a broker, they can also compare the options available from Barclays to what may be available to you in the rest of the market.
If you're with another lender and have the end of a fix coming up, the MSE article here gives you the windows for different lenders.
