After somone mentioned an Actifry - I want one!!!
There's no way I can justify £150 though, not when there's just 2 of us (and we don't have chips/fried food every day. Is it really just another gadget or are there lots of fans out there?

Just got mine, it is awesome! I paid £115 on ebay.:beer:0

We got one from Costco last week for £99, but you do need to be a member unless you know somebody to get one for you.0

Yes, I know, I looked into it, but I am not eligable and I don't know anyone who is. £115 on ebay is an excellent compromise, my nearest costco is 50 miles away, so add in petrol costs as well.
Really is an excellent product, just did sausages, marvellous.

yeh but dont it take like 25 mins to do some chips?0

I love my actrifry too - had it about 2 weeks, got it from Costco for £99.
Yes chips do take 25 mins but there is no heating up so take the same anount of time as using a fryer and the chips are much healthier too.
Made a chicken stir fry in it tonight and that was lovely too. also used it for sausages and onions - yummy
Done one of those platters from the shops - the ones with wedges, rings, mushrooms and they were all lovely and crispy - no soggy bits
I would recommend it to anyone .....Sealed pot challenge 822
