hi, i am thinking getting a new laptop as mine is becoming a bit slow now at times.
i have seen a refurbished laptop on laptops direct, it has good specs and is much less than what it would be new.
firstly, i want to know if anybody has had experience of buying refurbs? do you consider them good value, any issues, battery life still good, etc?
secondly, has anyone used laptops direct? if so, any good? i have also seen the same refurb laptop on ebay too.
look forward to any responses. thanks.

I bought the laptop I'm currently using about a year ago from Laptop Outlet. No issues at all so far.The only thing (generally for all refurbished products) is to make sure you know what grade you're getting. Some use A/B/C ratings, others are more descriptive (New/Like New/Very Good... Poor).1

I bought a refurb Mac desktop from Music Magpie about 11 months ago and no issues. I did look closely at years and I did not get a cashback but the machine itself is greatDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
