Sainsbury's Nectar, Smart Shop and So-Called Deals

Went to a different Sainsbury's store than usual, using their app - "Smart" shop. Bought crumpets (50p) and charged for Crepes (£1.75) but didn't realise until I got home. Rang Sainsbury's 0800 phone number (their complaints email no longer works) and was told the only way to get this sorted would be to return to the original shop. This is despite them having all my Nectar details and the ability to credit the Nectar account with £1.25. I asked what if I'd bought them on holiday and couldn't return them? Tough
This is not my first problem with Sainsbury's. They recently sent me "Nectar prices" - but not one of the 10 items at reduced price was available. One example was Fairy clothes conditioner 33 washes, offered at £1.53. But the only bottle available was for 34 washes? Of course, that is not the same size. Complained but got nil response
