P87 claim?

in Cutting tax
So I have moved departments in my job, and a new colleague has informed me I can claim back for washing my uniform. I have worn a uniform for 10+ years. I know I can only claim for 4 years.
Also in my new role I am partial WFH and have bought a desk for this purpose, can I claim for that as well as the tax relief for WFH? My contract states I am located in "X office and Remotely" donuts officially a mix of the two.
Also I now claim for milage from my employer (41p per mile) does this have any implication for this claim? I don't think I pay tax on it (I claimed milage in the first lockdown and didn't pay tax) it's paid direct with my wage. I work for my local
council if that helps.
Just trying to see what I am reliable for since I have been made aware of this since moving departments!

Assuming it's a logo'd uniform then yes you will be able to claim tax relief for that.
Desk no, if it was necessary your employer would no doubt have supplied it.
Assuming it's genuine business mileage and you do less than 10,000 miles per tax year then you will be eligible to claim tax relief on the difference between 45p/mile and what the council pay. This will be worth less than 1p/mile for most people (4p x 20%) but could be more or less depending on your specific circumstances.1 -
You may not qualify for WFH allowance either. Have a look at the examples here, particularly example 12:

Yes all my uniform in logo'd. embroidered on everything, and it is all genuine business milage from the start of my new role as my new role.
I get your point about the desk!0
